Bubbly and chirpy Jigyasa Singh, who became a household name as Thapki in Thapki Pyaar Ki, is back as Thapki to entertain her loyal fans. Jigyasa is currently entertaining masses as Thapki in season 2 of the popular Colors’ show. Talking about season 2, Jigyasa says, “When season 1 went off-air, fans wanted the show to return with season 2. And it is finally here. I am extremely glad and excited about beginning this new journey.”
She adds, “Getting into the role of Thapki is not easy, I am still struggling. Although, like the previous season, it is a story of a girl who stammers. But this season’s story is completely different from the previous one. Hence, the character that I am portraying is also different. There are a lot of things that we are trying to improvise. It would be wrong to compare both seasons as this is a completely new show. I would request that please don’t compare them.”
Commenting on working with co-star Aakash Ahuja, she mentions, “Aakash carries a positive vibe. He is an amazing human being and a good actor. He is also a calm and quiet person on the set. People share their secrets with him so he is also a secret keeper of our sets. I am having a great time shooting with him.”
On an ending note, she adds, “I want to thank my fans for being there and pouring their love. I would request everyone to forget the first season and then watch season 2. As they would be able to connect more with season 2. Just give the show some time and we are sure you would love the show.”
