Talented actor Tina Philip is happy and excited to be part of the show on Star Plus, Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna (Dipti Kalwani’s Sunny Side Up).
Tina who has gotten back to TV after a hiatus always wanted to get back on a platform which is big and noticeable.
Says Tina who last played the lead in Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee, “Star Plus is like my home ground. It feels great to be part of such a great network and also a great show. The show has a superb star cast. I would say that the wait is worth it, now that I get back with Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna.”
“I was looking for a character which was very good. And I wanted to get back on a big channel. After Ek Aastha I enjoyed the time I got to spend on myself. I was seen in an interesting episode of Mere Sai and few episodic stories on Laal Ishq. But yes, it is good to be back with a daily,” she adds.
Tina who plays the role of Ishani, the sister of Janhvi Mittal aka Shrenu Parikh in the show says that the sisters make for an interesting contrast in terms of characteristics. “While Janhvi is very calculative, with lot of strategies getting planned in her head, Ishani is quite spontaneous, impulsive and a girl who thinks from the heart.”
As per the promos, Tina’s character will be linked up with Zain Imam with their wedding being finalized by Janhvi. “Yes, as you can see in the promo, Janhvi wants her sister Ishani to get married to her brother-in-law Kabir that is Zain. Janhvi and Ishani do not have parents; so for Ishani, Janhvi is her world. Ishani always follows her sister’s commands.”
Talking about the intriguing concept of Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna, which has kept viewers captivated, Tina avers, “People are certainly looking forward to know what is what in the show. The promos have been amazing, and the feedback that we have got is amazing. The promos have raised the curiosity factor in the minds of viewers. All I can say is that appearances can be certainly deceptive with respect to every character in the show. We have been told to not say anything regarding the story line as it is a thriller and drama concept.”
Tina feels very comfortable and confident while shooting with each and every actor on the show. “It is amazing how so very experienced actors like Parikshitji (Sahni), Ayubji (Khan) and others are so down to earth and grounded. They are so easy to work with. Tanvi Dogra is one of my favourites on the set. She is a happy girl. Zain Imam is superb to work with. Shrenu and I share a very cute bond off the screen. She calls me ‘little sister’ on set and it is fun to be with her.”
Tina, wish you all the very best!!
