Television actor Karishma Tanna was crowned the winner of popular adventure reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 hosted by filmmaker Rohit Shetty (airing on Colors).
The talented beauty edged out Karan Patel and Dharmesh Yelande in the finale. She had outperformed and carried out some of the best daredevil stunts in the tenth edition.
Talking about her winning moment, she said, “The feeling of being the winner of Khatron is amazing and it is very satisfying. This was my last reality show, as in I have participated in all reality shows on TV (smiles). The best thing was that after a long time a female was crowned as the winner. After 5 years, a girl won the show so it is a shocking as well as happy feeling for all of us. Even my mother is also very happy and she can’t thank god enough.”
When asked about the most challenging part to survive the entire season, she shared, “I think being positive and focusing was challenging indeed. You get scared before performing the stunt. If you don’t focus properly then you tend to lose the confidence and fail to give your best in it. I experienced that, I was focused and was positive all time, I told myself that I won’t die and I will perform my best.”
She added, “Khatron Ke Khiladi is such a show that when you are on board you feel like a dream come true moment. All the contestants, Rohit sir, crew, production and your family support you a lot. This is not a dance show or Bigg Boss, this is Khatron and we are going to be surrounded by big and creepy animals and reptiles so what an experience, wow. It was a mind-blowing experience for me.”
Karishma feels that she has learnt a lot of lessons during her journey in the show. She quipped, “I learnt that we should never lose hope. I used to lose it and feel sad when I underperformed sometimes but later I used to encourage myself and tell myself that I will give my best in the next stunt.”
On an end note, she said, “I would like to thank you all for always supporting me. All I know that I did a lot of hard work and because of that and my mother’s blessing I won the show.”
Congratulations Karishma!
