Pranali Rathod recently joined Zee TV‘s popular show Kumkum Bhagya as the female lead in the fourth generation. The actress got selected by Ekta Kapoor instantly after her audition. Before Kumkum Bhagya, she appeared in the hit show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and became a household name. Fans are excited about her comeback and in an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz, she spilled beans on some interesting details about the show and her character.
Pranali expressed her enthusiasm for joining Kumkum Bhagya at the beginning, keeping in mind that the show has been ruling over hearts for the last ten years. Being a part of the show turned out to be a great opportunity for her. Talking about the show, the actress emphasized that she is very happy to be the fourth generation of the show, and she wishes that the audience may give her and the show equal love, highlighting the unique storyline like the past three generations.
Spilling beans about her character, Pranali revealed that her character Prarthana is Purvi (Rachi Sharma) and RV (Abrar Qazi)’s daughter, but she is not aware of her identity as she thinks Pandit and Panditain are her parents and Gayatri is her sister. For Prarthana, these people are her world.
Further emphasizing on playing the new role, Pranali shared that every new project and character is a challenge for her.
Lastly, she promised that her story would definitely entertain the audience and wishes that the show’s fans would enjoy this.
Pranali was last seen in Durga, which turned out to be a flop show on Colors, and it went off-air just four months after its premiere.
