Zee TV‘s popular show Kumkum Bhagya recently headed for a big leap of 20 years, continuing with the fourth generation, paving the way for new actors. Actor Akshay Bindra joined in to play the male lead, who will romance Pranali Rathod- the female lead. In an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz, the actor expressed his excitement, character and more.
During the interview, Akshay smiled, showcasing his happiness and excitement about the new journey. He emphasized that he was waiting for a big project and Kumkum Bhagya he got, which had been running for a decade now. Since it has been just a few days, the actor is still trying to sync with the character, but he is all enthusiastic about it.
Talking about the new plot, Akshay revealed that the story is about a Gen-Z boy and a typical girl, and it’s quite interesting. Further revealing his character, he said, “Raunak mai hi hoon, ye mere liye likha gaya tha.” Mentioning his characteristics, he revealed that his character is a bit quirky, lovable person and everyone’s favorite. Also, his character loves everyone and Raunak lives abroad, so whenever he comes he loves to spend time with his family.
