Congratulations on joining Kumkum Bhagya. Can you share your initial thoughts and feelings when you found out you’d be part of the show in such a significant role?

After my last show, I was getting a couple of offers, and I was really confused about what to do next. When I learned that I was offered Kumkum Bhagya by Ekta ma’am and Balaji Telefilms, I didn’t need to look any further because this was the best choice among all others, and I wanted to work with Balaji again. I was thrilled to know that they were even considering me for the show, and I am really honored and thankful that they have put their trust in me. So, I am really looking forward to working with Balaji again.

Kumkum Bhagya has a massive fan following. How do you feel about the expectations and responsibilities that come with being a part of such a popular show?

I would do anything that is needed to cater to the massive fan following of the show. I know the fans are attached to the previous characters, and they have loved them for so long, so accepting new characters might be a little difficult. But I feel that as new entries in the show, we will definitely do our best to perform and entertain everybody in order to gain their love and interest.

What preparations did you undergo to get into the skin of your character for the show?

I have been taking this one day at a time. No special preparation as of now. The character is definitely a complex one with many layers, so to get into this character, you need to be in touch with your emotions and understand how to bring it onto the screen. That’s when you work on your craft and act to be perfect at your job. So, that’s what I’ve been doing.

What can fans expect from your character and the show in the upcoming episodes or storylines?

There’s a lot of craziness, ups and downs, and many twists that the fans can expect, especially in my character. He has a lot of backstory, does some questionable things, and it will really explain why he does that and how he does that. It’s a roller coaster ride for this character, and I think the audience is going to love it.

In your career, you’ve worked on different projects. What unique challenges and opportunities do you find in a long-running TV serial like Kumkum Bhagya?

It is an old show, and there’s a sense of pressure to enter the show because of the old fans. We really wish that they accept us with open arms. You feel a sense of responsibility to hold such a big show on your shoulders because it has been a legendary show and is part of the legacy. Those challenges are there. On the positive side, it’s a huge show with a massive fan following. It is the best for an actor to gain popularity and be more known to the masses. It’s a smoothly running process with no problems on the set, so there is a sense of security.

There is a loyal fanbase of Prachi and Ranbir, how do you plan to win their love and support?

By giving them our love and by entertaining them through hard work every day.

Lastly, can you give a message to your fans and viewers of Kumkum Bhagya?

I would like to say that I am really honored to be a part of this show and part of this legacy. It’s a blessing for me, and I would like to ask you to please watch our show from 7th November. We would love to have your support.
