India has a rich history of dedication to Democracy. This 26th January, India celebrates its 76th Republic Day. The day is all about celebrating the achievements of the country and being a proud citizen. Everyone has happy childhood memories of Republic Day. So does actress Hemangi Kavi, who plays the role of Bhavani in Zee TV’s Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye. As we know, the show has seen a two-year leap post which Arijit Taneja and Sriti Jha are living away from each other. In fact, Virat Singh Ahuja is presumed dead by the family. We have Hemangi reflecting on Republic Day’s richness.
Hemangi Kavi sees the day as a celebratory affair. “For me, Republic Day is more than a celebration; it’s a day that reminds us of the incredible resilience and unity of our nation.”
Like many, Hemangi has sweet memories of this day as a child and has grown up hailing the day and occasion. “Growing up, I looked forward to flag-hoisting ceremonies and hearing heartfelt speeches at school, which always left me inspired. Those moments ignited a sense of responsibility towards my country.”
Talking about the significance of the day, Hemangi avers, “Even today, this day pushes me to reflect on how we can honour our freedom by fostering harmony and doing our bit for a better future. Let’s cherish our Constitution and remember that together, we can achieve greatness. Jai Hind!”
