Priyanka Choudhary, the young and talented beauty, who entertained masses in shows like Yeh Hai Chahatein and Gathbandhan, is touching new heights of fame as Tejo Kaur Sandhu in the Colors TV show Udaariyaan. The actress is surely stealing the limelight with her exceptional talent.

How has the journey been with the show so far?
I think it’s been a roller coaster of fun and learning. I have had a blast playing Tejo especially since I am not exactly like her in my personal life. Hence, it has been an amazing experience. Additionally, the love I am getting from my fans is just so enriching.
The show is now gearing up for a high point revolving around the wedding drama, how excited are you to shoot the same and what can audiences look forward to?
Honestly, I will like to give all the credit to my writers. They are doing a fabulous job at keeping both us, the actors, and the fans, on their toes. Hence I would tell my audiences to drop their expectations and enjoy the ride because we promise it’ll be worth it.
You have been winning appreciation for your role. How does it feel? Share any best compliments received so far?
I would say that by God’s grace, people have really connected with my character, and as an actor, that’s the best compliment for me. People have told me that Tejo is just like their daughter, or how they would want their daughter to be. I don’t think there can be a bigger compliment.
As we have seen, Tejo prefers a small-town life, how is Priyanka in real life? What are your aspirations?
Priyanka in real life doesn’t think so much. She loves where life takes her, as long as she can take care of her near and dear ones.
How has your experience been working with your co-stars?
Luckily, we don’t feel like co-stars at all. It’s like family and we all connect as well as the characters do. We are on set all day having a blast and hopefully, it continues the same way.
Recently, the show was the slot runner, how do you feel when audiences shower love on your show?
What other than content can one feel, you work so hard to connect with the person and on the other side, if they’re liking it, then as they say, ‘I feel like I am on top of the world.’
When you look back at your journey in the industry, how do you feel about it?
Mature is the word. I have been here for quite some time now and faced it all. I feel the journey was equally important since the person I am today, is a result of that patience, through some tough times.
How difficult it is to shoot during this pandemic?
It’s easier than facing the frontline as some of our people are facing during these times. It gets tedious, but I am just happy that we can keep our minds off all the troubles going around.
