Neha Harsora, who plays Sailee in Rahul Kumar Tewary and Rolling Tales Production’s Udne Ki Aasha on Star Plus, recently shared her refreshing perspective on love, relationships, and the true meaning of Valentine’s Day. Speaking from the heart, she highlighted the importance of self-awareness, authenticity, and valuing genuine connections over societal expectations.

“Hope in a relationship should come from purity, not just the fact that you are in one,” Neha expresses. “It’s not about finding someone and thinking, ‘This is it.’ You first need to understand yourself—your nature, what you need, and what you’re looking for in a partner. That clarity makes it easier to pursue a meaningful relationship. Love shouldn’t be rushed; it’s about depth and longevity. So, think carefully, love deeply, and value what you have,” she avers.

She stresses the importance of self-love, urging people to take time for themselves before diving into relationships. “Real love isn’t about societal norms or meeting social media expectations; it’s about genuine connection. Don’t settle for someone just to fill a void. Learn to love yourself first. Only then can you truly understand what you’re looking for in a partner.”

Neha also touches on how social media has changed the dynamics of modern relationships. “These days, if someone does something special, the first instinct is to post it online rather than cherish the moment privately. This constant need for validation and perfection has diluted the essence of relationships. Old-school love, where people genuinely care for each other, feels rare now.”

As for her own Valentine’s plans, Neha shares, “I had planned to go out with my best friend, but my shoot schedule got in the way. Plans can wait, though. What truly matters is being true to yourself and the ones you love.”
