I would love to work on the web space as it allows portraying unexplored characters unlike television: Jaya Bhattacharya

Talented actress Jaya Bhattacharya entertained one and all with her powerful role in Thapki Pyar Ki on Colors, and made a rocking comeback with Colors’ show Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka (Sphereorigins).

We earlier exclusively reported about the show starring Aditi Sharma, Kinshuk Mahajan and Shakti Arora going off air on TV screen but to continue to air on VOOT, the digital arc owned by Viacom.

Talking about the same, Jaya shares, “It is a brilliant step taken according to me. In today’s world of internet awareness, it is good that people can watch their favourite shows whenever time permits. The show is doing very well on Voot which means the viewers are enjoying watching it and this step is taken to keep their love towards us in mind. And of course, we too are enjoying being part of this show which has a contemporary flavour to it.”

When asked apart from Silsila, does she plan to take up any series, she avers, “I have half of the month free; hence I am looking out for more projects. Looking forward to interesting characters that will allow me to explore more of the talent that is hidden in me. I would certainly love to do more work on the web space as it allows portraying unexplored characters, unlike television. It’s so much fun and our line of work should be loaded with fun as it satisfies the hunger of an actor.”

Well said, Jaya!
