Ekta Kapoor’s picturesque small screen presentation Chandra Nandni beaming on Star Plus has evoked eclectic emotions among television viewers, ranging from awe to admiration to aspiration.
Leads Shweta Basu Prasad and Rajat Tokas with their nuanced performances have augmented script appeal and g a niche among audiences.
Another stellar performance in the beefy line up was of Saanvi Talwar.
It was a very nice experience doing a historical show like Chandra Nandni.
Saanvi, as Durdhara, doled out poignant potent scenes amplifying the overall majestic aura.
However, her character will bid adieu after getting killed. Before breathing her last she will give birth to her son Samrat Bindusaar.
Saanvi, though heavy in her heart with her exit, is an evolved actor today and is grateful with the opportunity.
She tells IndianWikiMedia: “Firstly, I would like to thank Ekta Ma’m for giving me this role of Durdhara in Chandra Nandni. I am very happy that she has liked my work. I have been lucky to work with Balaji Telefilms for a back to back project. It was a very nice experience doing a historical show like Chandra Nandni. I had an awesome time with my cast and crew. I made some special friends like Shweta Basu, Chetan Hanand Papia Sengupta. sraj I will continue to call Papia my mom forever. Entire production team, director and creatives are very nice, it was fun working with them. As I am shooting my last scene, with heavy heart, I say a goodbye to all and my best wishes to all.”
Have a great career ahead, Saanvi!!!
