Young actor Kavish Khungar, who plays Kanha in Shemaroo Umang’s popular show Main Dil Tum Dhadkan, is loved by audiences for his endearing performance. On the occasion of Children’s Day, we had a special conversation with Kavish, where he shared his Children’s Day memories and aspirations.
Happy Children’s Day to you. What usually makes you happy?
Chocolates and Ice- cream makes me happy.
Any lovable memory of Children’s Day that you can tell.
Last Children’s Day, my mom and dad took me to the mall to play in the Games Zone because they know I love games! There were so many cool games, and I got to play my favorites! I remember playing and running around with lots of lights and sounds everywhere. I even won a few tickets, and we got a prize at the end! It was so much fun.
At this small age, you have aspired to act and are doing a good job. How did you get this special zeal for acting at this tender age?
When I watch movies or shows, I see people having so much fun, being all sorts of different characters, like superheroes or even funny people. I thought, “Wow, I want to do that too!” It’s like I can be anyone I want, and it makes me feel happy. Also, people clap and smile when I act, and that makes me feel really good inside. So, I just keep doing it! It’s like my favourite game.
What would you like to be known for being a child artist?
As a child artist, I would like people to remember me for being really funny and making everyone smile! I want to be known for doing my best in every scene, just like a superhero would.
What do you like the best in the role that you play in Main Dil Tum Dhadkan?
Kanha is my character’s name. I love playing Kanha because he is the same as me. He has a lot of fun and always stays happy.
What do you aspire for this Children’s Day?
I want to run, jump, and play hide-and-seek, and I really, really hope we get lots of yummy snacks, like ice cream and candy! I wish there could be a magic show or maybe some big balloons that look like animals. I also want to go to the park with my mom and dad, and maybe even get a new toy.
