I miss work a lot - Shivangi Joshi

She enjoys a legion of fans not just in India but all around the world. Her show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is one of the most talked-about shows and her on-screen chemistry with ‘Kartik’ aka Mohsin Khan mesmerizes us all. Together, ‘Kaira’ rock the silver screen in every Indian household, and the audience love knows no limits. IWMBuzz got into a conversation with Shivangi Joshi and asked her a bit about her work, the quarantine period, and a lot more.

First things first, how is the lockdown treating you?

Well, it’s decent till now and I hope it goes the same way. I have been spending a lot of time with family and that’s something I don’t get to do too often courtesy the schedule we have. But yeah, it’s been fine. Enjoying some movies at home.

So, what kind of movies do you like watching the most?

I am a lot into rom-com movies. That’s my go-to genre. I must tell you that I hate horror movies. But then, sometimes when you are watching with a lot of people at home, you don’t always have much of a choice, do you? (Chuckles) but yeah, the favorite would be rom-com genre.

And what about work? Missing the sets or enjoying the break?

Oh absolutely, I am missing work. Once you do something for a long time, it becomes your habit and a part of your life. So, suddenly when it stops, it’s a little strange. But there are certain things which we just can’t help. But I miss going to the sets and working a lot.

Lastly, a message for all your fans and the audience?

Well, this is a difficult time indeed and we all must stay together and fight it together. Do your best to be safe and do your best to keep others safe. Together, we shall overcome this and I hope once the situation gets normal, we are once again able to entertain our audience just the way we did earlier. I am eternally grateful for their support and love. Thanks a lot to everyone.
