Rishi Saxena, who is a renowned name in the Marathi entertainment industry, recently made his debut in Hindi television with Colors TV’s popular show Saavi Ki Savaari. In the show, Rishi Saxena entered as Saavi’s childhood friend, Manav, who studied engineering at IIT Roorkee.

Maanav returned to his hometown with a noble mission to provide education to underprivileged children and aspiring engineering students by establishing a free coaching center. As the storyline progresses, the audience will be curious to see whether Maanav’s entry can rekindle the lost love between Saavi (Samridhii Shukla) and Nityam (Farman Haider), who have mutually agreed to separate and are currently in the cooling period of their divorce.

Talking about what made him come on board for the show, he said, “It was a combination of a lot of things. The first thing that attracted me to the show was my character. I always wanted to work with Colors TV for a very long time so that was one of the reasons why I agreed to come on board for the show. Collaborating with producers whom I have known for quite some time has made this journey even more special. Now, I am super excited to be a part of this daily and looking forward to it.”

Further elaborating on his character, Rishi mentioned, “Audiences can expect a lot of twists and turns in the upcoming episode. Maanav is going to play cupid in Nityam and Saavi’s life. When I first heard the story, I was intrigued by it and wanted to be a part of it right away. It’s a fantastic opportunity for me. I hope the audience enjoys watching my journey on the show as much as I enjoy portraying it.”

On an endnote, Rishi was all praises for his new co-actors. He shared, “Farman Haider and Samridhii Shukla are really sweet people. On the first day of the shoot, the conversation usually turns out to be awkward but it was not the case here. They gave me a warm welcome on the set, it was a sweet gesture.”

Good luck Rishi!
