Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the most loved festivals in India, and it began with great enthusiasm across India. On the auspicious occasion, young actress Neetha Shetty, who plays the role of Maa Laxmi in Sony Sab’s show Dharm Yoddha Garud spoke about his Ganesh Chaturthi celebration plans.
Neetha said “My favourite Ganesh Chaturthi memory from childhood was visiting all the Ganesh Pandals in our locality and visiting a friend’s house who had Ganesh Ji at home. Those 11 days would be a lot of fun. During Ganesh Chaturthi, there was a large ground near my house where a fair would be set up, so my father would take me and my siblings there to have fun. We celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi at home by performing an early morning pooja and Aarti and making typical Ukadiche Modak (steamed Modak) on the first day of Naivaidya. Wishing everyone a very Happy Ganesh Chaturthi”.
