Actress Sneha Jain who was last seen in Megha Barsenge on Colors, opens up about the unconditional love she receives from her two adorable dogs on National Pet Day. She calls her pets pure souls who have filled her life and home with boundless love, comfort, and joy.

“They are my babies,” Sneha shares warmly. “I always make sure they are well and happy. If anything ever happens to them, I take care of them completely. I don’t force them to behave a certain way. I want them to enjoy their time and just be themselves.”

Scooby, a Lhasa Apso, is known in the Jain household for his playful energy and obsession with toys that whistle. “He absolutely loves those squeaky toys! Every time my big sister visits, she brings him one. Scooby guards them fiercely—he won’t let anyone take them away,” she laughs.

On the other hand, Rex, a Labrador Retriever and the child of her sister’s dogs is more of a free spirit. “Rex doesn’t care much for toys. He just loves to run around the house like it’s his racetrack!”

What makes their bond truly special, Sneha says, is the unconditional love they radiate. “They sense everything—your moods, your stress, your happiness—and they always make sure to be with you, even during the tiniest moments. They love not just me or my family, but anyone who enters our home. That purity is unmatched.”

Sneha emphasizes that pets are not just companions—they are life-changers. “If you have had a tough or tiring day, your pet will sense it. They will put their tiny paw on you, and suddenly everything feels lighter. They are magical, innocent, and so sensible. I have learned so much from them.”

When asked what message she would give to those contemplating bringing a pet into their lives, Sneha says, “Please do. Just have one pet and you will understand discipline and responsibility. In a world where people often run away from commitment, pets keep you grounded. Even if you return home at 3 a.m., they will be there, waiting for you. If I am at home, every 15–20 minutes I hug them, cuddle with them, and sit next to them. I talk to them, watch their antics—it’s my favourite therapy !”
