Harsh Rajput is excited and elated to be back with the cast and team of his fantasy thriller show Nazar. Star Plus is presently experimenting with a new trend of getting back its popular shows in the format of a film, under the title Ankahee Dastaan. Gul Khan’s 4 Lions Films is geared up to give the audiences another dose of Nazar, this time in the form of a film!!
We at IWMBuzz.com talked to Harsh Rajput about this exciting development.
Says Harsh Rajput, “Nazar actually gave me a stepping stone in my career. After Nazar, I got into a new league as an actor and performer. This is one of my biggest career achievements, being the lead of the show and running it for 409 episodes. I was creatively very satisfied playing different shades of Ansh. Yes, it groomed me as an actor.”
Ask Harsh about the feeling he had when he got to know of Nazar getting back, and he is quick to say, “When the very first call came to me for Nazar, I got very excited. This is a cult show, and I was happy and excited at the thought of it. When I got to know that it was being made as a film, my excitement increased actually. When you shoot for a film, you know how it is starting and ending. Thanks to the team of Nazar, that we got another opportunity to work with them.”
“Ansh as a character will mostly be the same, there will be small tweaks of changes that will be seen. Ansh is already a very interesting character. He has always been loved for what he was. So viewers will get to see an amazing Ansh again, ” he says about his character.
Talking about the Nazar family reunion, Harsh states, “The family reunion was epic for us. All wanted that the show got back. This has to be a reunion for our fanbase too. We are getting a warm welcome on social media for our return. To create the same magic is a challenge and is exciting. When we shot for a family sequence, we prayed that we get another opportunity like this.”
On the format as a film, Harsh tells us, “Nazar is big as a brand which comes with a lot of expectations. This team has worked hard. In this film, you will get interesting twists and turns, amazing action sequences, and more of the masala. This is again another stepping stone in my career. I am very grateful to be part of this history.”
