The TV serial might be a complete hit with the Indian audience because of the 90s throwback theme surrounding a romantic track between the lead pair, Sameer and Naina.
But equal credit should be given to TV actor IWMBuzz and Ashi Singh for pulling off their roles so amazingly well and making the characters believable. Their crackling on-screen chemistry is extremely loved by the audience.
Randeep Rai has especially been a break-out star. His on-screen presence and charming personality has made the audience fall in love with him in no time. He might not look like your quintennessial bad boy but his handsom baby face has the girls swooning all the time.
While he rose to stardom with Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai, the show is not Randeep’s first television stint.
The actor has been in the industry long enough to share the screen space with some of Bollywood’s big names.
Born and bought up in Jhansi, Randeep completed his studies from MIT Pune before moving to Mumbai to fulfill his modelling dreams. Always wanting to be a part of the glamour industry, after landing in Mumbai Randeep started with modelling in advertisements.
His advertisment stint led him to share the screen with Bollywood actors like Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Disha Patani to name a few. The actor boasts of more than 120 TV ads to his name.
Randeep grabbed his first big break when he landed his first acting assignment and debuted with Channel V’s O Gujariya: Badlein Chal Duniya playing the role of Kabir Scindia in 2014. Two years later, he was seen in Star Plus’ popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum as Aryan Rathi. For both his shows, Randeep was much appreciated for his acting chops and his chocolate boy looks.
In 2017, he started playing Sameer Maheshwari in Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai which made him an instant household name. He has been much appreciated for his ability to pull off a 17 year old school boy, a role for which Randeep underwent a big transformation.
The handsome hunk is now headed for the big screen with his Bollywood debut film Saroj Ka Rishta starring opposite Shahid Kapoor’s sister Sanah Kapoor.
