Tanvi Dogra, the young and talented beauty, who enthralled masses with her demure and soft roles in projects like Jiji Maa, Ek Bhram Sarvagunn Sampanna and Santoshi Maa Sunaye Vrat Kathayein, is back on-screen to entertain fans with a different character.
Tanvi is currently seen playing the role of Neeti in Colors TV’s latest launch Parineetii. It is a fascinating journey of two best friends- Parineet (Anchal Sahu) and Neeti, who are inseparable. While Parineet is content with her comfortable life and rooted in all her family values, Neeti is a strong opinionated girl who is determined to chase her dreams and become an air hostess one day. Their different outlooks and expectations from life lead them onto different paths but fate intertwines their lives together as they both fall for the same man, Rajiv (Ankur Verma).
Commenting on her different roles, Tanvi shared, “I am really excited for my new show. The character that I am essaying this time is very different and something that I have not explored on-screen. Playing Neeti’s character is very special to me, as she has a persona quite like mine. She is extremely driven in life and does not believe in abiding by boundaries set by society. I believe there is a lot I can learn from Neeti. As an actor, I am exploring new things via this role. Also, I am enjoying this role because I don’t have to cry. I was excited to see myself on TV. I hope the viewers will love and support us in this new journey.”
Talking about her on-screen bond with co-stars, Tanvi added, “Anchal’s mother comes along with her and she is so sweet. So first I became friends with her mother and then Anchal became my buddy on sets. Anchal’s smile is very infectious and I always ask her to apply nazar ka tikka. She is a very sweet and amazing co-star. And about Ankur, he was very friendly and positive when I first met him. Now, we three bond like a house on fire.”
