Pranitaa Pandit, currently doing Balaji-produced fantasy show Kavach, is hooked to Colors show Bigg Boss, as her 3 friends are inmates this year.

“I have worked with Arti Singh and Rashami Desai in Uttaran, while Dallljiet Kaur is like family; we go back years.”

“This year, the mix of contestants, as far as males is concerned, is no great shakes. There are no big names, apart from Paras Chhabra and Siddharth Shukla. Hope bigger and better names enter via Wild Card entries.”

Coming to Paras, Pranitaa is not really offended by his making a play for all the girls. “Being a reality show contestant (Splitsvilla), he knows what is required to create drama and attract attention. No wonder he is doing what he is. And talking to girls in that way is part of his game plan.”

“Having said that, girls are winning hands down so far in all the action and tasks. This year, the drama has gone into super fast-forward mode.    There has been no settling in period and stuff that you would normally expect to happen only after the 10th is happening upfront.”

When asked about Shefali Bagga’s allegation about Arti’s marriage, Pranita says, “The latter has got respect for handling attacks on her personal life with grace. Shefali is coming wrong across wrongly, as far as my feedback goes.”

“Also, we are not sure whether the above allegations are true or not,” added she, as an after though.

Will others not try to pin Dallljiet down with her past as well (broken marriage)? “They will be sadly mistaken, for she is a very strong girl who will not wilt under pressure. It is no mean task to live alone with a young child, as Dallljiet has done with aplomb. We both have gone through a lot in life, so know what stuff she is made of.”

“She is winning hearts and minds with her actions, standing up for her rights, and yes, playing the game fairly as well”.

In closing, when asked about Siddhartha Dey’s attack on Rashami’s career (to be telecast tonight), she says, “Rashami is one of the top actors of the day, and her career is still going strong. She has not entered Bigg Boss as a means to give it one more chance,” ended Pranitaa.
