It is not easy to do a fantasy show: Falaq Naaz

Cute actress, Falaq Naaz, who was in the news recently regarding her much-publicized fight with actress sister, Shafaq Naaz, is quite happy with her new Colors show, Vish Ya Amrit Sitaara. “I am loving my vishkanya character. I always want to be part of setups that give me enough stuff to do as an actor.”

But so far, your character seems to be just a part of the canvas, with Vrinda (Shilpa Saklani) hogging the limelight. “It is still early days, and while I can’t disclose what and how, rest assured, we all vishkanyas (Soni Singh and Lavina Tandon) will have a lot to do, once the story starts to unfold in full earnest.”

Falaq, who has been part of mytho/history/fantasies before, i.e. Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, Mahakali – Anth Hi Aarambh Hai, and more recently, RadhaKrishn (cameo as Devki), is loving her Vish Ya Amrit costumes, “As they are much more comfortable than what I wore in my above shows. It is not easy to do this genre that entails lots of effort, given the language and heavy drama involved.”

Among all the shows Falaq has done, she regards Sasural Simar Ka (her character Jhanvi made her famous) and Gunahon Ka Devta as the closest to her heart. “The latter was my debut show and I learnt a lot, courtesy this NDTV Imagine presentation.”

In closing, she gave an icy “I don’t want to talk about my personal life” reply, when asked whether things have mended between her and her estranged younger sibling.  Interestingly, there was buzz that the duo might enter the current season of Bigg Boss as part of the jodi theme, but obviously, it did not happen.
