As a child artist, she first appeared in the serial Ssshhh… Phir Koi Hai and Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar. In 2009, Nawab played the role of Lo Ho Gayi Pooja Iss Ghar Ki. Further, she made her debut as an adult in the serial Crazy Stupid Ishq by playing the character of Anushka Atwal. Hiba Nawab portrayed the character of Amaya Mathur in Tere Sheher Mein. That following year, she worked in the serial Meri Saasu Maa. In 2018, Hiba took up the role of Elaichi Bansal in the serial Jijaji Chhat Par Hain and currently is working on the sequel of the show titled Jijaji Chhat Par Koi Hain. She received the Indian Telly awards for Jijaji Chhat Par Hain as Best Actor For Comic Role in 2019.
