Dheeraj Dhoopar (born December 20, 1984) is an Indian actor and model best known for his roles in Sasural Simar Ka and Kundali Bhagya as Prem Bharadwaj and Karan Luthra, respectively.
On November 16, 2016, he married actress Vinny Arora in Delhi. They met on the sets of Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg for the first time. They revealed they were expecting their first child in April 2022.
Dhoopar began his career as a model, appearing in hundreds of advertisements for companies such as Maruti Suzuki, Parker, Dabur Honey, Samsung Galaxy, and Videocon Mobile. Dhoopar completed an advanced course in fashion design before pursuing acting.
As Ansh in Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg, Dhoopar made his television debut. He also appeared in Star Plus’ Behenein as Bhavesh Patel, Mrs. Tendulkar as Sushant, and Zindagi Kahe – Smile Please as Shikhar. In Sony TV’s Kuch Toh Log Kahenge, he also had a guest appearance.
From 2013 to 2017, he played Prem Bhardwaj alongside Dipika Kakar in Colors TV’s Sasural Simar Ka. He also hosted the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa grand finale. He has been portraying Karan Luthra in Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya since 2017.
He also hosted Dance India Dance 7 in 2019, but he later left the show. Dhoopar portrayed Cheel Aakesh in Naagin 5 in 2020.
