Oxygen therapy is very refreshing: Roopal Tyagi

Bubblicious and super talented Roopal Tyagi is a unique combination of beauty and brains. Ever jovial and effervescent, the diva turned her fans into fanatics with her impeccable performance in hit Zee TV show Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke.

She doubled her fan base as a contestant in Colors’ Bigg Boss. Her smile is intoxicating and she is someone who ensures that she maintains her fitness.

She shares in an exclusive chat with IndianWikiMedia: “I have recently started focusing on my health. I am not really fond of hitting the gym, hence I workout in home. Apart from that, I follow a routine tabata workout which is a high intensity interval training. It helps me to keep fit.”

As the wise man once said, ‘you are what you eat’. Thus, Roopal keeps a strict check on her diet.

She explains: “I only eat natural stuff, which means less of cooked food. I take 1500 calories per/day not more than that including all the three meals. Eating right is important.”

Roopal also firmly believes in the saying ‘precaution is better than cure’. She says, “I feel we should always be proactive pertaining to health matters and always seek proper consultation as & when needed. One should endeavour to be healthy, not thin. Once I went on a crash diet and got weak and had dark circles. I learnt a lesson that there is a difference between being thin and fit.”

Progressive in thoughts, Roopal is also savvy to use modern techniques to stay fit. Recently, she visited Mumbai’s premium medical spa Health Culture and experienced its amazing oxygen therapy.

“I had a wonderful time. I quit smoking 8-9 months back, hence it was of special help to me. They put me in a chamber and gave me pure oxygen for 45 mins. I really enjoyed the session, a must try for all,” she beams.

On a closing note, Roopal says, “Guys, work hard but always focus on your health. Be fit and happy.”
