Handsome hunk Rrahul Sudhir, who rose to fame with his hot and stylish character Aryan Mathur in Vikram Bhatt’s Twisted 2, is back in a new avatar.
Our very own Raja Betaa, Rrahul is currently part of Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 on Colors. The young star is playing the character of Vansh, who is the antagonist of the show.
In conversation with IWMBuzz.com, Rrahul talks about his new show and more… Read on!
What made you say yes to Ishq Mein Marjawan 2?
Ishq Mein Marjawan is a franchise now and we as an actor want to be part of such a project which is already established among viewers. It is always good to be part of something impactful so when I got the offer I was glad and wanted to be part of it. It is like a dream come true moment.
Do you have any pressure as you are doing a sequel to a hit show?
Personally, I don’t think about such things. When you shoot, you don’t think ‘oh it is a sequel or who was part of the previous season’. You just shoot and give your best shot. If you look at it holistically, then there is pressure. However, individually, I try and keep myself calm and composed.
We only see you in serious roles, do you fear of getting typecast?
Well, Raja Beta wasn’t serious, it had different shades. It was more on the dramatic side. Twisted was relatively close but still not close. This guy Vansh is a different character. I think I am too young to be worrying about getting stereotyped. I should enjoy my roles.
Why should audiences watch IMM2?
The story is the major reason why a person should watch it. Colors and the Producers (Beyond Dreams) have put out a brilliant story. You will not see a TV show like this. I think the thrill aspect and the look and feel of the show are amazing. The audience should watch for the content.
How is your rapport with your co-actors?
I can’t tell you how amazing these people are. They are amazing actors and fun people to work with. However, when it comes to work everyone is very professional. There is so much to learn from Vishal and Helly.
Are you scared of shooting during the COVID-19 pandemic?
Let’s not call it scared, before the shoot began we were briefed about everything for 4-5 days. I am not scared now after the security measures. I think production and channel are doing enough.
How did you spend your lockdown phase?
I was laziest. I did a few things. I tried to learn a few things.
Have you learnt any lesson during this phase?
I think it is extremely important that we sort of loosen our grips on life. I see people work so hard in life and there is so much each and every day. They feel they have achieved something wherein it is the life which is more important than any achievement.
Any final message?
I just want to tell everyone that watch our show as it is something to look forward to, and stay safe.
