Popular actor Rajniesh Duggall, who is known for his projects like Ek Paheli Leela, Wajah Tum Ho, Aarambh: Kahaani Devsena Kii, Shrimad Bhagwad Mahapuran is all set to make a comeback on TV. The actor will soon be seen in Zee TV’s new show Sanjog. In the project, Rajniesh will play the character of Rajeev Kothari (Amrita’s husband). He is a sophisticated businessman who has successfully expanded his fine jewellery business with the help of his wife.
Talking about making his comeback on TV, he said, “I am really excited as I will be seen on television after two years, that too in a completely new avatar. I am excited about playing the role of Rajeev, who along with being an admirable son, is an ideal husband as well. It is my first daily soap. Being my first family drama show, I am really eager to see the audience’s reaction and I am sure my character will help me grow and expand my boundaries as an artist.”
Rajniesh hopes Sanjog does well on TV. “I would say that this show is a ‘bada packet bada dhamaka’. Sanjog has a lot of masala and relatability factors. A lot of women and men will relate to the characters that will be shown in the show. I do hope that Sanjog does really well and everyone loves it and the audience gets entertained and the show goes on and on,” mentioned the actor.
When asked about the preparation for the role, he added, “I am a father in real life. I have a daughter. For me to play a father on-screen was not a difficult task. Although Rajiv and Rajniesh are not similar, certain traits do resemble. There are certain traits of Rajiv for which I had to prepare. I still continue to prepare on a daily basis. In terms of physicality, I haven’t changed much.”
