Milloni Kapadia who has featured in TV shows Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha, Anandibaa aur Emily is happy and excited to have started her journey with the numero uno show across GECs, Anupamaa. The long-running and successful show on Star Plus produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut has taken its first-generation leap, with many actors being introduced in the story to take forward the show’s popularity. While Rupali Ganguly holds centre stage as the aged Anupamaa, Milloni enters as the new Kinjal after the exit of Nidhi Shah from the show.
Says Milloni, “It is a great honour to join the star cast of a huge show like Anupamaa. I am eternally grateful to Rajan Sir for giving me the role of Kinjal. I have received utmost love on set and am gearing up for the new journey.”
“As I talk to you, I hold the script of Anupamaa in my hand, and it gives me a special feeling. My focus is presently on my work. I understand that this is a big responsibility given to me. I will not take it for granted,” she avers.
On the character’s transformation with time, Milloni states, “Kinjal has always given to her family. However, she has not received the kind of love and respect that she deserves. This has made her a little bitter from the inside. She is strong-headed and wants to focus on her daughter and her work. She respects and loves Anu Maa, but you will find a different approach to Kinjal’s mindset now.”
