Helly Shah, who has just wrapped up shooting for her second show Devanshi on Colors, is not going to plan for the future.
“Last time after my debut show Swaragani had wrapped up, I had thought on recharging my batteries for a while but the above project landed on my lap, so this time around I will simply go with the flow.”
Looking ahead, she would now want to further challenge the actor within, “For me more than the genre the character is important. Being part of Devanshi has already raised the bar for the latter character Kalki offered me much to do (she was quite bindass and rude). Agreed it was not there for a long time, yet it was worth the effort. I really enjoyed working with the above Sonali Jaffar Productions’ venture for rubbing shoulders with senior actors (Karuna Pandey, Piyush Sahdev and Aamir Dalvi) helped us to shine as well.”
Remind that the show did not rate and she says, “Something‘s work while others don’t, lady luck always does not shine. We need to put in our best foot forward every day which we all did. As for numbers go, they are not in our hands. Even when the fortunes of Swaragini dipped toward the fag end, what could we have done? Every show has its own journey. It does rankle a bit, but that is life. ”
Helly further states that she enjoyed working and has a great personal rapport with Swaragani co –star Tejasswi Prakash Wayangankar, “She is like my sister.”
On the entire Pehredaar Piya Ki controversy she says, “It was quite sad for the show was doing well, and plus it involved the livelihood of over 100 folks. But eventually a decision was taken by the powers to be. I had spoken to Tejaswi during the time, she was bit taken aback by the unwarranted massive social media attack.”
In closing, we ask this beautiful girl about love, “I am single, if and when somebody who would really love me and share a soul to soul connect comes along, I will then think about it.”
Great going, Helly!!!
