Delhi 6 and Aisha actor, Cyrus Sahukar, who will be seen hosting the upcoming show Discovery School Super League as the quizmaster, says he prefers acting to hosting.

“I find acting as a process of relaxation. You have to enact a character that is different from your personality, hence it is very exciting. However, hosting requires a lot of energy. You are the captain of the ship there. Also, the job is very demanding physically. However, having said that, the comparison between the two is difficult as both have their own charm. There is a learning experience in both the fields,” shares the actor.

Multi-talented personality Cyrus will be hosting India’s biggest ever integrated school quiz show Discovery School Super League (DSSL) powered by Byju’s – The Learning App, along with Mini Mathur.

“This is a fantastic platform for kids. This platform is tapping the kids. We have seen only shows around college students. For the first time there is a platform for kids, which helps them grow and develop. It is not about winning and losing, but about developing self confidence amongst the kids. The competition level is really high as the questions are very tricky, which confuse the kids; but our motto is to pick the brightest kids among the best lot.”

Commenting on re-uniting with Mini Mathur after four years, he adds, “I had an amazing time hosting the quiz with close friend Mini and together we made it an exciting and engaging show. Although I am hosting with her after four years, I recently did a web show, Mind The Malhotras, which is by Applause Entertainment. We have been meeting on and off but this was an amazing experience.”

We wish him luck.
