Actress Priti Amin who enthralled one and all in the roles of Neerja in Katha Ankahee and Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will soon enter the Zee TV show Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye. The serial produced by Mukta Dhond’s Malhar Content Creators will soon see the entry of Amruta’s massi, essayed by Priti Amin.
Contrary to the characters that she played recently in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Kathaa Ankahee, Priti’s character in Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye will be of an NRI lady, who is well-grounded. She plays the cousin sister of Bhavani Chitnis who is back from abroad for a personal commitment. Very unlike Bhavani, Preeti’s character will be stern and authoritative.
Says Priti, “The massi character in Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye will be the typical ‘Saas’ for Virat Ahuja (Arijit Taneja). Bhavani, though is the mother-in-law to Virat, has not been a strict mother-in-law to Virat. She has had her share of soft corner with Virat. Now, this massi’s character will turn out to be the tough nut to crack for Virat.”
Priti is excited to be a part of the show. “The character is quite sophisticated, as she is an NRI. She is well-rooted to the Indian culture though and believes that Amruta should have a good future. It will be an interesting story ahead in the show, where it will be Virat versus this character. However, the truth also is that Virat and Amruta are slowly falling in love too.”
