Talented Swarda Thigale, who rose to fame with Savitri Devi College & Hospital, will be seen in Star Bharat’s upcoming drama Pyaar Ke Papad, an exceptional rom-com.
Talking about the show, Swardha shares, “It is different from the regular saas-bahu dramas. A story of the unique pair of sasur and damaad (father-in-law and son-in-law). Pyaar Ke Papad will be a roller-coaster ride of emotions, laughter, love and struggle against orthodox beliefs in society. It is breather from all the drama, mytho, historical and supernatural shows on TV.”
She continues, “The show is very relatable. All the elements related to it are real and natural. The costume, make up… I am using the minimalistic make-up in this series. It is not short like a daily soap, but like a movie. We have shot for 20 days but we have bonded really well and already become like one big family. We are given the freedom of improvisation hence it also helps us to enhance our acting talent. I am having a gala time.”
When we ask about her working experience with Akhilendra Mishra, she says, “He is a very senior actor and very welcoming too. A genuine human being and humble man. I have learnt a lot while working with him. He takes 5 mins to get into the character and performs every scene with easy. His expressions are on point. I feel blessed to be working with such an amazing actor.”
On an end note, Swardha adds, “Like my show, I have also enjoyed and struggled for my love in my teenage days. It is fun.”
