Neha Marda the talented actress who was last seen playing the lead in Zee TV’s Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti, has just recovered from Covid and wants to embrace the New Year with more positivity.
Says Neha, “To start the New Year recovering from Covid, is like coming out fresh. An outcome of this is that I have got into more multivitamins, taking care of cough and congestion. So it has been a detoxicating phase for me, and I am glad to start my New Year this way.”
Neha Marda recollects the emotions that went through her when she was in isolation. “The hardship faced during this phase was more about not being able to meet your near and dear ones. My mother-in-law has been going through weak health and that is why we shifted to Delhi. That’s the reason why I had to quit my last show in between. So not seeing these near and dear ones for fourteen days was the biggest hardship to go through.”
About the self-learning methods during quarantine, Neha avers, “Quarantine phase is the best ‘me’ time one can get, a phase where we can have self-realization. I have written a lot, talked to myself, watched good OTT shows, watched the news and of course, yoga. The best aspect was that I was away from the phone.”
On her probable comeback now, Neha says, “Yes, every actor looks for a good role to get back. Roles that attract me are the ones that are bold in terms of content, silent in terms of lines as acting is more about expressions. I want to either play a cop, a mad girl, a young 16-year-old, or a 55-year-old grandma.”
Neha sends out a message by saying, “Be vocal, get connected to your people, make an effort to make a relationship work, don’t let go of anything that you have with you. I am a person who would not let go of anything at any cost. I would make an effort to get back what is under threat. This is one short life and don’t keep anything against anybody.”
“After getting back to the pink of my health, I am looking forward for some good potential work again,” she reiterates.
A message to her loving fans will be, “This pandemic has actually made us learn a lot of things. So stand by it and follow what you have learnt. Spend time with yourself and with your near ones.”
Neha, wish you a great comeback with yet another good role!!
