Qubool Hai will always remain closest to my heart - Surbhi Jyoti

It is a double treat time for Surbhi Jyoti fans in Coronavirus days.

Your fav actress has not only returned to the tube with the re-run of her debut hit Qubool Hai (Zee TV), but even her much-awaited music video Aaj Bhi will also go live tomorrow ( 9-4-2020) at 11 am.

Talking first about Aaj Bhi, sung by Vishal Mishra (Kabir Singh fame), Surbhi, last seen on the tube with Naagin 3 says, “At first we planned to delay it but now have decided to go forward as everyone is anyways at home and on their respective devices. “ It is a lovely song, and working with a talented Bollywood and Hollywood artist Ali Fazal was super fun. The best part of shooing a video is that you have to tell the entire story in just four minutes flat. There is no time to get into character grooves as in films, TV, or web.”

Shifting gears to QuboolHai, Surbhi says, “My fans are even more excited than me regarding this great nostalgic event. They are making collages and tagging me on social media.”

Going down memory lane, Surbhi adds, “I was the only heroine who wore jeans and a shirt on TV and that too in a Muslim society (Qubool Hai). The biggest USP was its different story, coupled with well etched out characters. No matter what I have achieved ever since this Gul Khan Production will forever remain closest to my heart.”

Here Surbhi adds that success is never a smooth crown to wear, “for then your responsibility goes much higher, and I am trying to live up to that.”

In closing, Surbhi informs that the completion of her debut Hindi film Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai will take a bit longer than expected.

“At first, Jassi Gill (main male lead) was committed to finishing Panga (Kangana Ranaut film), and now we have this lockdown. I have been getting B- Town offers ever since Qubool Hai, but I did not want to play small roles. I am glad my patience has paid off getting a titular role,” ends she.
