How easy or tough was it for you to get into the shoes of Shivani?

It was very easy to get into the shoes of Shivani. I relate a lot to what Shivani is. If there is something wrong, I say it upfront and don’t keep too many emotions inside. Shivani is righteous, fair, and is today’s girl. That’s exactly what I am.

You look fabulous in this new dressing style that you portray? How have the inputs come for your look?

Thank you. I think this character is someone who can wear everything. So I wear sarees to lehengas, suits and western wear. That is something I like a lot about the character. In television, it always happens that one gets stuck with the same kind of look. This is not what I face in the role of Shivani. I also like the nose ring that I am sporting in the show now. This is one accessory that I am loving these days.

How would you describe the love tale of Rajeev and Shivani?

Its old school love. The speciality of old school love and first love is that you are friends first and later lovers. Shivani and Rajeev are friends cum lovers. This is something I really like about this love story.

How is it to share screen with Sachin Shroff?

This is the first time I have met Sachin. We have a common friend that is Vahhbiz. I have heard about him, from her, and he too might have heard about me from her. With Sachin, I never felt that we are working for the first time. We hit it instantly. I feel I have known him for years.

Tell us about your offscreen chemistry with Neil and Ayesha?

Both are very nice and caring people. We were shooting the scene inside the police station. A nail pierced my leg and it was hurting a lot. Neil got down on his knees and took the nail off. Ayesha too is very nice, and has a big streak of humanity. We are getting along so well.
