Karishma Tanna is a well-known actress in the Indian television industry. While the wedding season is in full swing, the actress previously announced that she and fiancé Varun Bangera will marry. On February 5th, the actress and her fiancé will tie the knot. According to ETimes, the actress would have pre-wedding activities such as mehndi and sangeet on February 4th, followed by the Haldi and wedding the next day.
Karishma, according to ETimes, has methodically planned all of the rites. She’s putting together a South Indian outfit for a post-wedding event. Karishma wishes to incorporate her beau’s South Indian customs and traditions into the wedding because Varun is from Mangalore.
A friend of the actress revealed, “Karishma has been planning her wedding wardrobe for quite some time. She wants to do something special for her husband-to-be and her in-laws, so she has picked a pink Kanjeevaram saree with gold embroidery and has also bought authentic South Indian jewelry to perfect the look. She will be wearing the saree after her bidaai as she enters her new household. The wedding will be a mix of Gujarati and South Indian rituals.”
The couple has updated and limited the guest list in light of the rising COVID-19 cases and restrictions. Karishma and Varun had planned a large fat wedding, which is obviously not doable given the current situation, according to their source. The initial list has been reduced to 50 items in consideration of the COVID protocols. That hasn’t dampened the bride-to-spirits, though.
