After entertaining masses in shows like Saat Phero Ki Hera Pherie and Maharaj Ki Jai Ho, Riya Sharma is seen playing the lead role of Mayura in the Colors TV show, Pinjara Khubsurti Ka, which deals with how society perceives beauty.
The actress is all set to shoot for a new phase in the show wherein Mayura will be seen taking a stand for herself and fighting for rights. Riya says, “It has been a super amazing experience working on the show. Now, the new phase wherein Mayura learnt about Omkar’s obsession is very intense. The promos are out and fans are loving it. This phase is very challenging not only for me but for all of us. There will be a lot of drama in the house. Now, Mayura is in a lot of pain but having said that she is also a brave girl. She is getting the courage and fighting for her right.”
What was the challenging part of shooting intense scenes? She shares, “The emotions have to be right when you deliver intense scenes. Thank god the scenes have come out well. My team and co-star helped me. As a girl, I could feel the pain that she is going through. If we have a small spot on our face, we get worried. Now, she has to deal with a half injured face and that will be really emotional for her.”
On a final note, she mentions, “The upcoming drama and episodes will be surprising for me and my fans. A lot of girls have suffered such kind of obsession and they will relate to it. The girls will also get the courage to fight for their rights. When I saw my recent episode, I started crying as it was very emotional and intense. I am very grateful to all my fans and well-wishers.
