Paras Arora, who has enthralled audience in shows like Mahabharat, Veer Shivaji, Udaan, Dil Hi Toh Hai, is currently seen playing the main lead in Rajan Shahi’s new show Baavle Utaavle for SAB TV.
Speaking about what made him select the show, he says, “I almost explored every genre in my acting career but have never tried comedy. Hence, I opted for this daily. I really liked the script and I think it is the strongest factor of the show. One more reason to take up the show was the maker (Rajan Shahi) and the production house (Director’s Kut). Rajan sir is a superb maker. I am blessed that I am working with him. My character Guddu is very different from the normal TV heroes that we see on-screen. I request audience to give the show a chance as we promise to entertain them.”
Paras feels Comedy genre is tough. “It is not easy to make people laugh. Comedy is a difficult genre and now that I have tried it I have got to know about it. However, I have a good sense of humour; hence there is no problem. I do improvise but then I also don’t like to do any changes with my writer’s work. The writer himself provides us the best script. The director later guides us,” shares the young lad.
When asked about his overall journey in the industry, he avers, “I have been working in this industry for 12 years now. I started with Veer Shivaji and then bagged Mahabharat. Earlier I feared of getting stereotyped; hence took a break. Later, I took Udaan and other daily soaps. I also did a movie hence it was a fruitful journey so far. I do regret the decision of not picking up few best historical and mytho shows that came my way as I was worrying about getting stereotyped. However, now I am open to do such genre shows in future.”
Way to go boy!
