Sad and tragic that a young guy lost his life – Nikita Dutta on the Cinevistaas Studio fire accident

Nikita Dutta talks on the fire accident at Cinevistaas Studio.

Nikita Dutta of Sony show Haasil is thanking her stars that she was not shooting at Cinevistaas studio in Vikhroli on Saturday night when a part of the mammoth set housing the yet to go an air show Bepahnah got burnt down.

Nikita shared her thoughts with IndianWikiMedia.com, “Luckily that day we were shooting in Mudh island. I don’t know what would have happened had we been there. It was sad and tragic that a young guy lost his life.”

For the uninitiated, IndianWikiMedia.com was the first to report about the ghastly fire taking the life of a young boom man, Gopi Verma. (If you have missed the story, please read here – RIP: IWMBuzz)

Haasil also has a set at the same place as both Cinevistaas and Alchemy Productions are part of the same family.

However Nikita says this unfortunate incident will not affect the telecast schedule of Haasil. “For we have a good one month bank and second thing we don’t shoot much on sets. We do a lot of outdoors. So we will continue as per plan,” ended Nikita.

While Colors might bear the brunt of this as telecast of Bepannaah will definitely be affected, Sony has got kinda saved as the entire unit of the horror show Ek Deewana Tha which also has set at the same complex was away shooting in Manali.“ Had we been shooting in Mumbai, God knows what would have happened,” added a source.

Interestingly the Bepannaah set is at the same place which had earlier caught fire when it was the base of Jennifer Winget led Sony show Beyhadh.

May the shows go on, is all we can say at the moment!!
