Yogendra Vikram Singh the talented actor who enthralled one and all as Samrat Chavan in Star Plus show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is back in action again!!
Samrat who had walked out of the house and from his newlywed relationship, soon after he got to know that his wife Pakhi loves his brother Virat has made a sensational comeback to the show now.
However, the equations will not remain the same now and there will be a big difference in what Samrat Chavan behaves like in the present.
We at IWMBuzz.com got into an exclusive conversation with Yogendra Vikram Singh on his return to the show.
Says Yogendra, “I have been away from the show for some time now. But I have never felt that I was away from getting the love of my onscreen family or my fans. My fans have always been in touch with me, and have waited for this big moment of Samrat’s return. So overall, I have never felt that I was away from the show (smiles). Other projects kept me busy.”
“I am really grateful to my fans who are showering all the love on me. All this love coming towards me means that I am loaded with a big responsibility of performing well for the show now. Having said this, I am ready for the challenge,” he states.
Yogendra does not mince words when he says that Samrat will be a changed man now. “Viewers will now see a contrast in me and my behaviour.”
Probe him more on the kind of changes that his character will go through and Yogendra exclaims, “Whatever has happened in his life has been heart-wrenching for him. There will be an overflow of emotions now. Samrat has faced a lot of problems, has had his own heartbreak. But being a mature man, he will deal with the situations coming in a very different way.”
“When we love someone very much, there are chances of feeling the worst pain possible when the same person betrays you. That is the exact feeling that Samrat harbours in him right now. The manner in which Samrat’s pain will flow out now will be interesting to watch.”
So will you call Samrat to be a man with negative shades now? “No, not at all. All of it will be a reaction to what he has gone through. Whatever he says, will be very much justified too. I am sure viewers will agree to the reasoning that Samrat will give.”
On the reactions to the promo featuring the yesteryear actress Rekha, the actor states, “We are all blessed to be a part of this promo that featured the great actress Rekhaji. The promo has been received really well. There has been an amazing level of curiosity that has come into the plot now. Rekhaji has been our Lady Luck, we can say (smiles).”
