Randeep plays the protagonist, Sameer Maheshwari in the popular TV serial. With his cheeky personality and chocolate boy looks, he instantly won over many hearts and gained his own legion of fans. His chemistry with co-star Ashi Singh aka Naina, is the USP of the show.

However, in order to bring in authenticity and make the character believable, he underwent major transformation to change his overall appearance to look like a 90s loverboy. To pull off a 17 year old school boy look, Randeep admitted he lost close to 10-12 kg in three months following a strict fitness regime.
Randeep says he was inspired by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s look back in the 90s. From his hair to body language, Randeep tried to emulate his style to achieve the right appearance.

Out of all the changes he underwent, his hairstyle was a major talking point among his fans. Randeep grew out his hair for the first time for this character. His long, luscious hair only added to his amazing persona on-screen and had the girls going gaga over it.

The actor uses all the kitchen ingredients that are readily available like egg whites, curd, castor oil or coconut oil which he applies on alternate days. Everyone – Take note!

In fact, it was his reel life Nanu aka Kiran Kumar who graciously doled out hair tips to his young co-star. How sweet!
The tips have certainly been extremely useful if the mop of smooth hair that Randeep sports on-screen is anything to go by. Wouldn’t we all love a chance to run our hands through those silky tresses once?!
