Sriti Jha is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in the Indian TV industry. She’s a rage among her fans for her character of Pragya Arora in Kumkum Bhagya, and her on-screen chemistry with Shabir Ahluwalia is extremely loved by one and all. We, at IWMBuzz, had a brief and fun interaction with Sriti where she spilled the beans on Shabir, her show, and much more. Read to find out…
What is your most favourite sequence of Abhigya?
Oh My God! It is so difficult to point just one favourite sequence as there are so many. It is almost next to impossible to pick just one. I love them all. But that particular drunk sequence in the very beginning is one of my favourites certainly. As far as the dancing sequences are concerned, there are so many. It is next to impossible for me to pick just one out of so many, as I said.
What do you miss about Kolkata the most?
It has to be phuchkas. I also remember and miss my memories of Gariahat and New Market (chuckles).
What is your most favourite off-screen memory with Shabbir?
Well, both me and Shabir are big-time foodies, so we would more often than not spend our time eating food while we were not shooting. That’s the truth.
Talking about food… ice-cream or gulab jamun, which one do you like more?
Ice-cream, without any doubt.
If asked to select between Shah Rukh Khan’s hand wave gesture or Salman Khan’s ‘Hudd Hudd Dabangg’ step, which one would you pick?
Shah Rukh Khan’s hand wave. That is every girl’s weakness, Oh My God.
Lastly, a message for all your fans and the audience?
Take care, stay safe and don’t venture out until absolutely necessary. Protect yourself and your loved ones and pray for the best. We will all overcome this soon.
