On March 26, 1984, in Bhaderwah, Jammu & Kashmir, he was born into a Muslim household. Shahnawaz Sheikh is his father’s name, and Dilshad Sheikh is his mother’s name. He is the younger of two sisters.
Education
Shaheer Sheikh attended Hari Singh Higher Secondary School in Jammu, where he studied science for 10+2. He graduated from New Law College and Bharati Vidyapeeth University, both in Pune. He is the owner of an event management company and possesses a Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B.). Sheikh is from the Jammu region of Jammu and Kashmir’s Bhaderwah District.
Career
Sheikh began his career as a photographer and model before transitioning to acting. His acting career began with Disney Channel India’s Kya Mast Hai Life and Zee TV’s Jhansi Ki Rani. He then appeared as a recurring character in Disney Channel India’s Best Of Luck Nikki. After that, he appeared on Star Plus in Navya..Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal. Then he appeared in Star Plus’ Teri Meri Love Stories.
Shaheer Sheikh later starred in Sony Entertainment Television’s popular serial Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi as Dev Dixit, a young business tycoon. In the show, Shaheer is matched with Erica Fernandes, a rookie. Shaheer is known for his roles in Star Plus series such as Navya and Mahabharat.
Shaheer is now starring opposite Rhea Sharma in the Star Plus serial Yeh Rishte Hain Pyaar Ke as Abeer, the male protagonist.
