Actor Srikant Dwivedi who played the lead role of Lord Vishnu in the Colors mythological Lakshmi Narayan, and is presently seen in the other mythological presentation titled Shiv Shakti Tap Tyaag Tandav, finds it tricky, yet mandatory to balance personal life and professional life.

“My personal and professional life is quite visible to the audience, but maintaining a balance between the two is not a big challenge for me. I make sure to prioritize my family and spend time with them, no matter how busy I am,” says the actor.

Srikant finds the need to strike a good balance and perseveres to follow the same. “I visit them regularly, ensuring I stay connected. Even with my hectic schedule, I manage to take breaks between projects and shows. This balance doesn’t require any extra effort because when you truly prioritize something in life, you naturally find time for it. It’s all about making it a priority, and the rest falls into place. For me, maintaining this balance has never been very difficult. It’s just about setting your priorities and sticking to them.”

Ask him how he manages to stay connected to his roots, and he says, “It is very important for any actor to stay connected to their roots. No matter how much money you earn or how much fame you achieve, if you are not grounded and connected to your roots, you will lack basic morals and values. These are the things that truly define a person and help them grow. I come from a very humble background, and when I reflect on the journey I have had so far in this industry, I feel grateful. The kind of past I had, has shaped me into who I am today.”

He adds, “At the time, my struggles seemed overwhelming, and I often wondered why my life was so difficult. But now I realise that everything happens for a reason, and it always works out for the best. There’s a saying: “If things happen as you wish, it’s good; if they don’t, it’s even better.” In life, not everything goes as planned, but I believe that God has a bigger plan for us. That’s why it’s essential to never lose touch with your roots. Fame and money will come if you keep working hard, but your basic values, morals, and ethics come from staying grounded and connected to where you came from. A strong foundation in your roots is what truly makes you successful in the long run.”
