Harsh Rajput of Nazar 1 is under home quarantine back in Gujarat.
“My 14 days will soon be up, and then I might be apt to step out in my green zone area. However, I will still be cautious, leaving home only for basic stuff.”
Looking ahead Harsh, who was in talks for a few more projects, says “The whole working of the industry and the world will change post-COVID -19. We now need to wait and watch for the new normal to stabilize. Suffice to say restricted crew shoots will soon resume, but that will take a toll on quality and grandeur.”
Dwelling on more downside of the pandemic, he adds “With advertising revenues drying up, other high- maintenance shows too might meet their nadir just like Nazar. ”
Nazar season 2 had just started after a glorious run of season 1 which also starred Niyati Fatnani. “Producer Gul Khan has gone on record to attribute low business sentiment to its sudden ending,” added he
Here Harsh gives full credit to the above Star Plus supernatural show for making him who he is. “I have earned a good fan following as well.”
So what kind of genres would you want to play with next?”More relatable concepts, i.e. passionate love story or social drama with a message. The fantasy drama bit is off my list, been there, done that you see”
Apart from TV, he is game for interesting web and stage offers as well. “As an artist, I don’t want to leave any stone unturned.”
In closing Harsh requests everyone to say positive in today’s tough time, “A certain amount of frustration is bound to creep given ever-extending lockdown. But then we need to fight it and come out tops.”
Well said, brother.
