Shubhaarambh actor Pallavi Rao on being ‘harassed’ by her society members

Pallavi Rao the senior actress who is presently part of the Colors show Shubhaarambh is facing huge harassment from her co-residents at the Ankur Building, Goregaon West, Opposite to Hypercity even after being the Vice-Chairperson handling the building’s welfare.

The building has been harboring many cats for a long time now, and extra care has been taken regards their sterilization and vaccination. The cats have been born in the same building and the decision on giving them shelter was taken by the residents long time back. The cats are also certified for the matter of fact.

However, stranger are the situations now for Pallavi Rao who finds it really tough to safeguard the cats at her building now.

Pallavi as we know has been a very active animal activist herself. And for her, the first priority will always be the safety of animals.

Considering all this, she is now being harassed by the residents of her building to give away with the cats.

Says Pallavi, “The cats are born here and have been well taken care of. The housekeeping at our building has been properly put in place to keep the premises clean if in case there is the cat litter anywhere. But now, considering the horrid times we are in, with regards to the virus outbreak and the rains lashing Mumbai, I am extremely pained to say that the people residing in my building want to do away with the cats. I have heard that they want to send them off or might even poison the cats. It is sad to know that even Corona could not teach humans empathy.”

“For the safety of the cats, I am also ready to go with a legal action. I do not want them to be harmed in any way,” Pallavi adds.
