Shweta Tiwari files domestic violence case against husband Abhinav Kohli

Actress Shweta Tiwari has reacted to the court’s decision in her favour in the custody dispute with ex-husband Abhinav Kohli over their son Reyansh. Abhinav has been involved in a contentious case.

He accused her of abandoning Reyansh in preparation for her participation on Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 and of keeping him away from her. Following the court ruling, Shweta explained to Bollywood Bubble how Abhinav would cause a “ruckus” wherever she went.

“Hopefully, as a result of this Court ruling, his unlawful harassment of us will come to an end.” Abhinav has been following me around everywhere for the past two years.

It was mentally draining for both my child and me. He would show up at random places just to make a scene and establish that my child was unhappy with me. Even when Reyansh stood by me, he would try to twist events to prove that I was a bad mother.

He wouldn’t stop there; he’d make a scene and show up on my doorstep at any moment,” she said. She went on to say that the court had previously only permitted Abhinav to speak with Reyansh through video call for small amounts of time, but she now allows them to talk for longer lengths of time.
