Good looking and talented actor Gaurav Khanna, who is on a break after Chandrakanta, is really enjoying Bigg Boss 13. “This is the first season I have actually watched and enjoyed as a viewer. The creative team has got a hit on their hands. I guess what works is that most of the inmates have found audience love or hatred, which is the prerequisite of the format.”

Talking about BB 13’s numero uno player Siddharth Shukla, he says, “This guy is earning the trust of both the audiences and makers. His heroic presence separates him from the rest.”

“Having said that, I also think Shehnaaz Gill and Asim Riaz can give him a run for his money. Sadly, Sana did get carried away during the weekend. Love makes you do strange things.”

“Asim and Shukla’s animosity also comes from the fact that at one time, both were very close. Familiarity breeds contempt.”

Gaurav also likes Rashami Desai’s game. “She is playing as per her plan. Paras Chhabra too is winning the attention of the fair sex.”

Gaurav has no issue with the abuse. “These things are bound to happen, for the tasks are designed for friction. And let’s face it, masala sells. Agreed, all this looks unrealistic, but then even our films are the same, yet they become part of our life. This time we also have the added emotion of romance (Vishal Aditya Singh and Madhurima Tuli),” added Gaurav, who had earlier done shows like Love Ne Mila Di Jodi, CID and Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam.

“I will not pin down anyone, as it is not easy to keep your nerves under check, which is what the show entails. I don’t think I will sign up either, till I pick up more patience.”

In closing, Guarav says, “Bigg Boss can do wonders for an actor’s career, given the saturation coverage. I know many might argue that very few winners have come out to carve a niche for themselves. To them, my answer would be, many outside have not won any laurels either.”

“It is just three months of your life, and it is not bad, as you do get noticed. Rest is up to you, how you play your cards.”
