It just feels like yesterday that we were watching those cute fights between brothers Shivaay, Omkara and Rudra. And phew! Six years just fly by. Ishqbaaz is probably the most loved serial of India’s millennial generation. Right from the setting of the story, to the matching monochrome outfits to the background music as well as the lead couples. Everything was so pleasing to see. Ishqbaaz was not like other typical daily soaps in India, you could watch it repeatedly without getting bored.
The chemistry between the couples, Shivaay-Anika, Omkara-Gaur, and Rudra-Bhavya, was outstanding. We miss seeing our favourite stars on screen together.
The show aired on Star Plus from 2016 to 2019. In 2018, there was a leap to the next generation as they came up with the second season which was titled ‘Ishqbaaz: Pyaar Ki Ek Dhinchak Kahani’. However, the first season starring Nakuul Mehta, Surbhi Chandna, Kunal Jaisingh, Shrenu Parikh, Leenesh Mattoo and Mansi Srivastava was a superhit among the audience.

The lead pair Shivaay-Anika received a lot of love from the audience. Even today there are fan pages dedicated to the reel, Jodi. Surbhi Chandna last worked as the host of the reality show ‘Hunarbaaz: Desh Ki Shaan’. While Nakuul Mehta has been starring in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 from August 2021 as Ram Virendar Kapoor, opposite his previous co-star Disha Parmar.
