I still want to explore more of modeling: India’s Next Top Model season 3 winner Riya Subodh

Riya Subodh, who hails from Ahmedabad, was crowned as the winner of the third season of India’s Next Top Model after having a tough fight in the finale of the show from fellow contestants Sabita Karki and Shweta Raj.

The 23-year-old model wants to explore the modelling field and later venture into acting.

“I still want to explore more of modelling. Now that I have won the show, I definitely have an edge to work harder. Ramp is my first love and I always want to be there. I want to get featured among the top models in the world and that is my ultimate goal. After modelling, I would love to get into acting,” says the model.

Talking about her winning moment, she shares, “The winning moment was very special for me. I am overwhelmed by the support and love that I have received from all over and I am extremely thankful to India’s Next Top Model Season 3 for being such a wonderful platform that helped me explore my talents every minute,” Riya shares after her win.

“The show has helped me not only to represent myself but also got my state, Ahmedabad, noticed in the modelling arena and I hope to carry the title of India’s Next Top Model to the best of my potential. My parents are really proud of me. My dad is so happy that he is collecting cut-outs from newspapers and showing all my relatives,” she adds.

Riya believes that her honesty and confidence has helped her win the title.

“I truly believe that my honesty and confidence was my x-factor. These two traits of my personality helped me win this title. I am an emotional person and people also targeted my weakness in the series but I managed to emerge as winner when I changed it into my strength. My fans have always told me that I am an honest and pure-hearted person and I will promise to remain the same.”

Good luck, Riya!
