My style of portraying Lord Indra in Vighnaharta Ganesh is very natural: Meer Ali

Meer Ali talks about his role in Vighnaharta Ganesh, the fantasy mytho on Sony TV and the success story of the show.

Talented actor Meer Ali is happy and satisfied with his first fantasy mythological role in Sony TV’s Vighnaharta Ganesh (Contiloe).

Meer who essays the role of Lord Indra Dev in the well-rated show is appreciated for his performance.

Says Meer, “I get lot of appreciation for the role I essay. Fans have told me that I look good as Indra. This is a very different kind of role that I am doing. It has been a real challenge for me as it is my first fantasy mytho show. I had to structure myself and create things in order to get into the skin of the character. Having been part of Vighnaharta Ganesh for 300 episodes now, I simply love being in this space. I always look to do my scenes differently. And this is what viewers have liked. My style of portraying Indra is very natural. Even while showing my harsh emotions and aggression, I give it a natural touch and not go the melodramatic way.”

Vighnaharta Ganesh is the top-ranked show in fiction on Sony TV, and has been entertaining viewers with its super hero format in which Asuras and Devs have a face-off on regular basis. “The show is doing wonders. The interesting part is that the story is structured in such a way that viewers are glued to it. Kids especially love our show. And above all, it is very educative for the younger generation who get to know more about our mythology.”

Ask Meer about the recipe for this successful show and he is quick to say, “We have a great team of actors who always give their best. On the glamour front, we have really good-looking actors. Above all, the entire team present on the set is wonderful. For a hit show, one needs a good team in all departments. So you can say that our success is because of the good team we have; everyone from every department is so dedicated towards work. This is when the best product comes out.”

The show completed 300 episodes yesterday (15 October).

Way to go, Team Vighnaharta Ganesh!! Good going, Meer…
